VECINOS PROGRAM
Would you like to learn a second language while getting to know others in your community?

The Vecinos Program allows you to develop your Spanish language skills by partnering with a local community member who wants to develop their English skills. ​​
How does it work? ​

You will be partnered with a native Spanish speaker here in Flagstaff who wants to improve their English speaking skills. You will meet on a regular basis for one hour and speak for 30 minutes in English and 30 minutes in Spanish. This format allows you to experience being both a learner and a "teacher", creating mutual empathy and understanding for one another's perspective. ​​
